Since Campbell is a big first grader now, I got a Junie B Jones book to read with her at bedtime.  Some things I have to leave out because Junie B can be pretty pouty and some stuff I just have to use as a teaching moment but Campbell can’t wait to get to bed at night so we can read this book together.  The other night I was reading this page and she was laughing so hard that she was crying.  Not sure if she was delirious tired or if her little first grade self just thinks that ‘Bobbi Jean Piper wears a diaper’ is hilarious.  Every night after I read our chapter or two, she has me go back and read this page and she just cracks up again.  Tonight, during her bedtime prayer, she said “...please help me to make new friends at school tomorrow.  And if any of my friends are mean, help me to drop them like a hot tomato....” 🤣
