Can You Do Me A Favor?

Can you please say a prayer for this little guy?



He is going in tomorrow at noon for a minor urology surgery. It is an outpatient thing and it isn't a big deal but he is my baby and....well....he IS a big deal...a HUGE deal! We should be home by tomorrow evening but will come home with him having a catheter for a week. I'm not really sure how that is going to work with a crawling baby. He has to undergo anesthesia so that makes me a little nervous but I know that God is in control and I know that he is going to be just fine.


"And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it" (John 14:13-14).

Praying for Stellan

Please be in prayer for this precious baby boy

I have been following this family's blog for a few months. To kind of tell Stellan's story in a nutshell, here is what what his mom (the popular blogger MckMama) put on her blog about him:


MckMuffin is our snuggly 8 month old son S! In the womb, he was diagnosed with heart failure, suffering from Supraventricular Tachycardia, hydrops and heart block. At 24 weeks the doctors told us that our gravely ill unborn baby would surely die. We chose to give our son completely to God who surprised us with Stellan's miraculous recovery: our son was born healthy! MckMuffin began to suffer from SVT again at 4 months, was additionally diagnosed with PFO, a hole in his heart, and had a partially successful heart procedure performed at 5 months. Whether the future holds more surgeries or a pacemaker for our miracle boy, we don't know. But God does and we trust Him no matter what He decides.



Stellan's health seems to not be in great shape right now. Please be in prayer for this family. As a parent, I can't imagine what this family is going through. I am amazed and humbled at their faith and trust they have in God's control of the situation.

This is too cute! Sam and Eli cracked up watching this. We may have to teach Luke some of these moves :)

Jumpin' Jax

My friend Jill and I took our boys to play at Jumpin Jax today. She had her nephew, Tyler, with her (whose mom is also a friend of mine) so between her 4 boys, Tyler and my 3 boys...we had 8 BOYS! 8 Boys = LOTS of energy!! They all ran around and jumped their little hearts out! Hopefully they will sleep well tonight!

While I was getting ready this morning for our day, Eli came running through the room yelling "Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!" This is what I saw....





He took the Buzz Costume off of his Build-A-Bear and dressed himself in it. Funny boy!

There's No Business Like Sew Business

Ok....corny title, I know! I just had to share my excitement about this shirt I picked up today. I saw this applique online

and had a vision about how I wanted it to look. The wonderfully talented (& reasonably priced) lady who does our monogramming put it together for me and it turned out like this:




My MIL is making Luke some brown gingham shorts to go with it. Oh how I love kids clothes! Way more than I should! I can't wait to see this on my little man :)

4th of July Eve

After taking the C family's pics last week, I really wanted to go back that park we were at and take a few pictures of my guys. This park has to be one of our favorite summer spots. I found out about it 2 years ago and started taking the boys there. There is a playground for the kids to play, a walking trail if they want to ride their bikes or scooters and a creek to go play in to get cooled off. Jay was off work on Friday so we all went together.
