Here Comes the Sun
Luke started out wearing pants but he fell into a puddle of water and got them soaking wet. So...this is how he spent the rest of the time at the park...
The Greatest Show on Earth
At one point during the circus, Sam leaned over to me and whispered, "Is this REALLY the GREATEST show on earth?!" He enjoyed it but I really don't think he was convinced that it could possibly be the GREATEST!
As soon as the horses came out, Luke started waving and screaming, "Hey Cows!"

Happy Adoption Day
A little over 2 years ago, this little guy entered our lives
He was only 5 weeks old when my sister and brother-in-law became his foster parents. He had been taken away from his biological mother when she tried to SELL him...(Yes...SELL! It still breaks my heart!) When the social worker brought him to my sister, she knew that she wanted to adopt him from the start. It has been a roller coaster of a 2 years but as of 2:30pm today, he is now legally my sister's son! We all went to dinner tonight to celebrate. The servers were so awesome...they brought a cake out singing "Happy Adoption Day to you...." LOVE it!

I was one busy baking mommy this afternoon. Tomorrow is the 100th day of school so it was my job to make 100 mini chocolate chip cookies. Sam was a little disappointed when he got the news that he couldn't eat all 100 of them by himself!

After his party, we let him pick where we went to lunch...McDonald's, of course! (Blah!)
When we got home he was wiped out! He wanted to sleep on his new pillow pet that Grandma got him :)
